For screenshots and PSDs: No, Adobe After Effects is not required. ScreenCraft generates App Store-ready PNG screenshots without it. For video rendering: Yes, After Effects is required to render the 30-second preview video. Don't have it? You can download Adobe After Effects or contact us at mark@peerthrough.com for professional rendering services at a small hourly fee. You're also welcome to use other service providers — the cost will be much more affordable since they're just rendering rather than creating from scratch.
Your license key can be activated on up to 5 devices. This allows you to use ScreenCraft on your work laptop, personal computer, and share with team members. Need more? Contact mark@peerthrough.com for team licensing options.
ScreenCraft is built by Peer Through, a creative studio that has produced App Store launch videos for years — work that used to start at $10,000+. We automated our own pipeline so every developer can afford a professional launch. Contact us at mark@peerthrough.com for custom template design or rendering services.
No. One-time payment. Your license key works forever.
They get you 90-100% there. You pick from 3 options per screen or write your own. Everything is editable in the included PSD and After Effects source files, so you can tweak wording, layout, and styling in Adobe until it's perfect.
If you code with Claude (Code, Desktop, or Cowork), ScreenCraft registers as an MCP tool. Claude already understands your app from the codebase, so it generates headlines and configures everything — then opens the UI pre-filled for you to review. One-time setup, works automatically after that.
